Jesus Has Authority Over Your Storms | In Control We are in week one of our new 4 week sermon series “In Control”. In this week Pastor Keith is teaching from Mark 4:35-41 Sermon Points Since He has authority over your storms, He can: 1. sovereignly send you into them. (vv. 35-37) His Word to you is accompanied by His walk with you! 2. seemingly sleep in them. (v. 38) God’s disappearing act is not about Him proving He’s calloused; it’s about Him provoking your call! 3. suddenly still them. (vv. 39-40) Jesus allows storms not for our failure but for our faith! Homework: List the storm that you’re avoiding because of fear! Write it down; then juxtapose it with God.
