Baptism is a public profession of faith to symbolize an internal decision to dedicate your life to Christ. So although Baptism does not give us eternal salvation, it does proclaim to your family, your friends and your church that you are dying to your old self and are raised to a new life in Christ Jesus.
Frequently Asked Questions

A: Because Christ modeled it.

Because Christ commanded it.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matt. 28:19
Because it identifies us with the message of Christ.
“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.” Acts 2:41
Q: Will I be fully immersed in water?
Q: Do you baptize babies?
A: No. We baptize those who are old enough to make a personal decision to dedicate their lives to Christ. We do baby/child dedications for small children.
