A Parting Promise

We are in week 54 of our sermon series walking through the book of John. This week Pastor Keith Norman taught the congregation from the supporting text found in John 16:5-15 in a sermon titled “A Parting Promise!”.

Sermon Notes: John 16:5-15
The Holy Spirit Who convicts the world. (vv. 8-11)
Respond to conviction or be relegated to condemnation.
Homework: “How can I penetrate the world, lovingly, clearly, decisively, & unashamedly?”
The Holy Spirit Who guides the disciple (v. 13).
Because the Holy Spirit is a perfect Guide into truth, the disciple doesn’t have to wander into opinions.
The Holy Spirit Who glorifies The Christ (vv. 14-15).
The Spirit finds no difficulty glorifying Christ because divine unity leaves no room for divine rivalry.

Although we are a diverse church, we are a culture of one. We are passionate about discipleship and serving those in need in our community, our nation and around the world. We believe the church should not just be about Sundays, but the other six days. Our Pastor, Keith Norman is a gifted bible teacher and a talented worship leader who loves the Lord with his whole heart and seeks to pastor a church that looks like heaven – with people from every kindred, tribe and nation.
