We are excited to announce that we will observe Lent as a church family with a corporate fast and Bible reading from February 22 thru April 8th. Lent is a spiritual observance in which Believers commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by imitating the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert before beginning his public ministry (Matthew 4:1-11). The fast will include 40 days of fasting and 7 days of “feasting.”

We encourage you to replace the things that you choose to fast from (e.g. food, media) with increased prayer, worship, reading, and study of the Bible.
