Sermon Notes: 6 Bible Division: Creation, Fall, Promise, Gospel, Mission, and New Creation
Depart (vv. 1-5)
Departure is often unpleasant, but if it catalyzes multiplying and neutralizes dying, go.
Dream (vv. 11-15)
Don’t let less-than-ideal situations stop you from dreaming.
Discern (vv. 16-19)
Sometimes a reset is good for one’s mindset!
Devote (vv. 20-22)
(Numbers 6:2, 21)
Pray “real” because God already understands that our commitment to Him is not equivalent to His commitment to us, even when our intentions are good.
Homework: What has you on the run? Name it and ask God for a grace that will eliminate your fleeing and elevate your faithfulness.
