Phil and Jhanelle Adams

Youth Group Co-Leaders

Phil and Jhanelle’s relationship began with an age-old sports rivalry between their colleges(UGA and Georgia Tech), and their countries (USA and Jamaica), but when it comes to youth – they have always been on the same team. They knew from early on in their relationship that they were called to serve youth through the relationships they built with them.

Phillip currently works as a Math teacher and track coach at Woodstock High School while Jhanelle conducts education research and evaluation for Fulton County Schools. Outside of the church they use these platforms to impact the future of our youth both directly and indirectly.

They have been married since 2015, but have been coaching, leading and mentoring high school students since 2013. They have officially been involved in youth ministry since 2016 and are now co-leaders here at the Factory. They also serve as men and women discipleship group leaders during the fall and spring bible studies.

Phil and Jhanelle’s love for the youth go beyond their careers and serving in ministry but, it is part of the foundation of their lives, and can be seen in their marriage mission statement.

“Our mission is to restore and maintain the family as God has designed it, by inspiring young couples to live Christ-filled lives, mentoring young people in our generation and generations to come by being Christ’s eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and feet with our lives as living testimonies.” Titus 2:7, 1 Timothy 4:12
