DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that we will observe Lent as a church family with a corporate fast and Bible reading from February 22 thru April 8th. Lent is a spiritual observance in which Believers commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by imitating the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert before beginning his public ministry (Matthew 4:1-11). The fast will include 40 days of fasting and 7 days of “feasting.” \n  \nWe encourage you to replace the things that you choose to fast from (e.g. food\, media) with increased prayer\, worship\, reading\, and study of the Bible. \nPick up your Lent Guide in the lobby\, or find it on the app\, and start preparing to feast on God’s word while we fast together.
